this used to be one great fish restaurant, but of course like everything that gets popular I have lost all interest.. however, if you are to go to amasra during a weekday than I still recommend it.. on the weekend there is 30 min - 1 hour wait and trust me it ain't worth it

and yet another interesting street sign I encounter.. it says "wear your barret".. shall do captain!!

@ safranbolu, turkey

this picture pretty much describes the area in general.. buildings, nature, people, they are all rolled into one.. complementing each other beautifully and more importantly peacefully co-existing together..

@ yorukkoy, turkey

the end of civilisation as we know it?!!
no no, just kidding.. its just one corner of a busy street that look's forgotten.. but then if you were to ask the locals, they truly believe that they are forgotten.. hmm sad :(

ok now that is something.. the air-conditioner is being used as an eye.. and if you look carefully there is a hand holding a cell-phone.. basically another object (have no idea what) that's stuck on the building is being used as for the mobile.. if you want to take it to another level, you could say the lamp is representing the third-eye.. but i think that is going a bit too far wouldn't you say.. :)

well hello kitty-cat!! was not expecting you here.. more creative use of graffiti.. give me more!

and voila the giagantor alhambra palace.. well this is only one little bit of it.. they should put it on the top 10 palaces to visit before you die list.. and might i add, they love their water this lot..

@ granada, spain

this is the upper side of alhambra palace, called "general-life".. have no idea why they call it that.. but it basically was there chill out place during the summer.. the gardens are absolutely amazing..

might as well call it the meat-packing district.. this is your usual restaurant / bar with meat hanging from the walls.. don't know whether to find it estethic or disgusting..

@ sevilla, spain

sevilla on wheels!..
insert coin, take out bike, ride bike, return bike.. great system!!
@ sevilla, spain

all building corners, store fronts, side streets are like this.. its like art is squishing (even) out of the buildings..
@ sevilla, spain

the modern art museum, kiasma, is worth while seeing for its zen-like architecture, but can't say the same for the content..

call it an obsession, call me mad.. but i have a thing for these scandinavian roads.. undiscovered beauty in something man-made in a place where even God forgot..
@ rovaniemi, finland..

this feeling of emptiness that resides in everything, including this gas station at 9am actullay does not make you feel alone.. and its also very esthetic for reasons i cannot define..
@ gas station south of arctic circle, finland

hours and hours on road with pretty much the same view.. i would not be exaggerating if i were to say that 1 hour ago the same view, 1 hour later the same view.. all is empty..

@ a road south of the arctic circle, sweden

you might think its 4 in the morning but its more like 10am.. this sun down effect in the sky is permanent during the 4-5 hours of daylight they have..
@ a road close to the sweedish border, arctic circle, finland

inherent existence..

simplicity, minimalism and a feeling of emptyness resides in everything..
